"Nightfall" Creative Curriculum Guide
Our theme for OCTOBER is Nightfall. As the days get shorter here in the Northern Hemisphere, children are becoming reacquainted with the night sky and have so many questions and wonderings about what goes on in the world when the sky gets dark. This month we deeply explore the concept of night in a way that makes sense for young children. Our quick and easy invitations will build on your child’s curiosity about this season. The art and play invitations can be used as a language to express ideas and inspiration from the natural world around them. Listen as they wonder about that darkness outside their window, the natural patterns that become more visible, the falling leaves, and the sparkly sky.
Our curriculum is inclusive and honors each child’s individuality and way of thinking and working. Consider each guide like a beautiful magazine where creativity meets education.
