"Bloom" Creative Curriculum Guide

Have you noticed what makes your child bloom lately? Is it mucking around in Springtime puddles? Is it building expansively with blocks? Or mixing all the colors together to invent new ones? Look closely this month and see what it is that really brings them joy and find ways to prioritize exactly that. Notice what makes them BLOOM! May is the month where we feel rejuvenated and inspired by the blossoming trees and flowers around us. We can’t wait to share all this beauty through a variety of creative art and play experiences. Spend a weekend painting a collaborative work together inspired by our spotlight artist Carolyn Gavin, or keep it easy and explore with scissors and thrift store pots and pans for a classic flower soup. Print with flowers and explore shapes and color, or make a grassy crown while going on a flower hunt. There are so many ways to get creative with us this month!

They are more than a collection of art ideas, they are the KEY to a cohesive, child-centered, manageable creative practice for your family at home, or to integrate with your homeschool or classroom curriculum.

Our Whole Child Guide is our original 26-page guide and includes:

• 20 invitations (one for each weekday of the month), 10 art and 10 play, that can be cut into cards and kept in a box as a resource to build upon
